Miguel is an active Texas Peace Officer with over 18 years of law enforcement experience. He is assigned to the Special Operation Division as a Sergeant with the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office. Miguel has been an active law enforcement instructor for 11 south Texas Counties since 2015.

Miguel is a graduate of La Joya High School, the Mission Police Academy, and South Texas College. Miguel holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Law Enforcement. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice’s from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV).
